Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take before I start working?

As Soon As Possible!

Once you are registered with Always There Personnel we get to work matching you potential jobs based on your skills and preference. Finding the perfect position for some candidates can take a little longer than others but we stay diligent in finding you the job of your dreams.

Do I have to come to your office for the interview? What should I bring?

You will need to come to our office for your interview. After you complete the first step, submitting your online application by selecting the ‘Apply Now’ quick link from our Home Page, you will be contacted by one of our professional recruiters. They will review your application and qualifications and get in touch with you within 3 days of your application submission. We will then schedule your interview in our office.

Our comprehensive testing and application process can take up to 3 hours. Please bring 2 original forms of Government issued identification (no copies please), your 2 most recent job reference phone numbers and an updated copy of your resume, if you have one. In addition, please be prepared to complete a criminal background check and drug test upon request. After the application is complete, you will interview with a recruiter. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss your skills and what you are looking for in your next position.

How often should I contact your office after an interview?

Its important that you contact our office atleast once a week to keep us up to date on your availability status. We will also contact you as soon as we identify job opportunities that match your skills and interests.

If I’m not happy with the position you’re offering, can I turn it down and still be considered for other job opportunities you may have later on?

Yes. If you decline a job, we will be offering you positions based on your skills and preferences in the future. However, we encourage all our candidates to remember that most jobs will not meet 100% of your expectations so it may be worth considering some opportunities that aren’t at the top of your list.

I had a felony in the past. Will it affect my chances of employment with you?

We help find employment for all of the job seekers that fill out our Online Application but it is important to know that having a past felony can affect your hiring. Always There Personnel believes all of our candidates deserve a fair chance.

All our candidates should be willing to submit to a criminal background check prior to placement. Our policy makes no distinction between felony or misdemeanor crimes, only the nature of the offense.

Candidates who have been convicted of, or have pleaded guilty to and/or received deferred adjudication for a felony or misdemeanor may qualify for placement with Always There Personnel depending on the nature of the offense.
